Energizing Protein Coffee Breakfast Smoothie

Energizing Coffee Breakfast Smoothie
Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 banana
  • 1⁄4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 3⁄4 cup almond milk
  • 1⁄4 cup strong coffee, concentrate or espresso
  • Optional: 2 Tbsp french vanilla or non-flavored protein powder

Instructions

Place all ingredients in a blender. Cover and process until smooth.

BiPRO: Basil-Cheese Triangles

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Bake Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 36 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Feta Cheese
  • ¼ cup BiPro, unflavored
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp fresh Basil, chopped
  • ¼ tsp White Pepper
  • 16 oz  Phyllo Dough Sheets
  • ¼ cup Butter, melted

Instructions

1. Crumble feta cheese into a small bowl; mash with a fork. 

2. Stir in BiPro, water, basil and white pepper until well mixed. 

3. Cut stack of phyllo dough sheets lengthwise into thirds. 

4. Cover with waxed paper, then with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out.

5. For each triangle, use 2 strips of phyllo. 

6. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of cheese mixture on end of a strip; fold phyllo strip end over end, in triangular shape, to the opposite end (like when folding a flag). 

7. Place on a greased cookie sheet. 

8. Brush butter over triangles. 

9. Bake at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden. 

10. Serve warm.

BiPRO: Avocado Spread

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Serving Size: 8 Servings

Ingredients

¼ cup Mayonnaise
1 Avocado, peeled and pitted
2 tsp Lemon Juice
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
¼ cup BiPro, Unflavored

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients in blender or food processor and mix until smooth. (Can also be mixed by hand.)

2. Spread as desired on sandwiches, wraps or burgers.

BiPRO: Cheddar Bite Crackers

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Bake Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 18 servings (36 bites)

Ingredients

  • ½ cup All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup BiPro Whey Protein, natural unflavored
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1½ cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Crispy Rice Cereal

Instructions:

1. Combine flour, BiPro Whey Protein, butter, water and cheese in a large bowl; mix until dough forms. 

2. Stir in cereal until combined.

3. Shape dough into 36 1-inch balls (balls can be left round or flattened). 

4. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. 

5. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

NOTE: Add up to 1 tsp garlic or onion powder for added flavor

BiPRO: Peanut Butter Energy Bar


Preparation Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 1 hours 20 minutes Makes: 12 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Honey
  • 1 3/4 cup BiPRO, unflavored
  • 1/3 cup Creamy Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped Peanuts or Crisp Rice Cereal
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Coating:  Optional but recommended!

Instructions:

1. Place honey, peanut butter and vanilla extract into mixer bowl (a heavy duty stand mixer like a KitchenAid® is recommended). Blend for 1 minute on medium speed.

2. Mix together BiPro whey protein isolate and chopped peanuts or cereal. Add to peanut butter mixture and mix on low speed until well blended.

3. Press mixture firmly and evenly into a lightly greased 9 inch pan. Let sit for 1 hr. Coat and/or cut as desired.

Coating (optional):

Baking Chips: Melt 1 cup chocolate chips (or flavor of choice) and spread over bars. Place
bars in the freezer for 3-4 minutes to harden. Cut into 12 bars.

Chocolate Coating: Cut into 12 bars. Dip bars into 4 oz of melted chocolate coating and
place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. After all bars have been coated, place in the freezer for 
3-4 minutes to harden coating.

BiPRO: Fruit and Nut Cherry Almond Bar

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Makes: 6 servings
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups Dried Cherries
  • 1/3 cup Dates, whole pitted
  • 1/4 cup Almonds, sliced
  • 2/3 cup BiPRO, unflavored powder
  • 1-2 Tbsp water

Instructions:

1. Place dried cherries and dates in food processor. Pulse until  nely chopped. Add sliced
almonds and pulse several times.

2. Place fruit/nut mixture into mixing bowl. Add BiPro whey protein isolate and mix on low
speed until evenly incorporated, adding water only as needed to aid mixing.

3. Press mixture into a lightly greased 8”x 4” loaf pan. Let sit 15 minutes. Cut into 6 bars. Wrap in plastic wrap or waxed paper.

BiPRO: Chocolate Chip Cookies


Preparation Time: 10 minutes Bake Time: 9 minutes Makes: about 4 dozen cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup BiPRO Unflavored Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup Sugar or Xylitol
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Combine  our, BiPro whey protein isolate, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

3. Beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter and vanilla extract in a bowl until creamy. Add egg and beat well. Add  our mixture; mix well.

4. Fold in chocolate chips.

5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

6. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Remove
to wire racks to  finish cooling.

BiPRO: Chocolate Chip Almond Oat Bar


Preparation Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes Makes: 12 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup Almond Butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 1/3 cup Agave Syrup or Honey
  • 7 scoops BiPRO French Vanilla Powder
  • 2 cups Quick Oats
  • 1/3 cup Sliced Almonds (or other nut of choice)
  • 1/4 cup Miniature Chocolate Chips (or chopped dried fruit of choice)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup Water

Instructions:

1. Mix together almond butter and agave syrup until smooth.

2. Add BiPro French Vanilla whey protein isolate, oats, almonds and chocolate chips and mix well.

3. Add water 1 Tbsp at a time, while mixing, until a stiff dough is formed. 

4. Press into a lightly greased 8 or 9 inch square pan.

5. Let set 1 hour before cutting into 12 bars.

6. Wrap bars individually and store in the refrigerator.

Try BiPro Chocolate whey protein isolate for a chocolaty almond bar; this recipe is also good 
with BiPro Unflavored.

A heavy-duty stand mixer is recommended for this recipe.

BiPRO: Protein Waffles

Preparation Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes Makes: 1 serving

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 scoop BiPRO  French Vanilla or Unflavored
  • 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Quick Oats
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Skim Milk or Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

Instructions: 

1. Preheat waffle maker.

2. Combine BiPro, oats, cinnamon, and baking powder in small bowl. Set aside.

3. Combine egg, milk, and applesauce. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

4. Bake in preheated waffle maker following manufacturer’s directions (about 2-3 minutes).


BiPRO: Banana Oat Breakfast Cookie

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Bake Time: 15 minutes
4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Banana, mashed
  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2/3 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 5 Tbsp BiPRO, Unflavored
  • 2 Tbsp Walnuts, chopped

Instructions:

1. Mix together banana, peanut butter, water and vanilla.

2. Add oats, BiPro and walnuts.

3. Let sit for 20 minutes.

4. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into cookies (1/4-1/2 inch thick) on parchment paper lined (or lightly greased) baking sheet. 

5. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

6. Let cool. Store refrigerated.

BiPRO: Baked Cereal Bar


Preparation Time: 15 minutes Bake Time: 10 minutes Makes: 10 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Tbsp Melted Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup BiPro, unflavored
  • 1/3 cup Xylitol
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 2/3 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup Crisp Rice Cereal


Instructions:

1. Mix together honey, egg, oil and vanilla.

2. Add BiPro whey protein, sweetener and cinnamon. Mix until well combined.

3. Add oats and mix well.

4. Add crisp rice. Mix gently until thoroughly combined.

5. Bake in greased 9 inch square pan at 325°F for 10-12 minutes.

6. Let cool and cut into 10 bars.

BiPRO: Apple Cinnamon Refrigerator Oatmeal



Preparation Time: 5 min Refrigeration Time: 8-10 hours
Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats or Quick Cooking Steele Cut Oats
  • 1 scoop/packet BiPro French Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Skim milk or Almond mild unsweetend
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • dash Nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Apple


Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients except fruit into a 10-12 ounce bowl or container. Mix well. 

2. Stir in fruit.

3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

4. Stir before eating.

5. May be heated in the microwave if desired.

Note: Replace spices and apple with other spices and fruit as desired. BiPro Chocolate and 
BiPro Unflavored can also be used as desired.

Other flavor suggestions:

  • BiPro Chocolate with 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter and 1/4 cup diced banana
  • BiPro French Vanilla with 1/3 cup chopped strawberries
  • BiPro Chocolate with 1/3 cup raspberries

High Protein Asian Salad

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes

Serving Size: 8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Napa Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1½ cups Snow Pea Pods, trimmed and cut in half
  • ½ Medium Cucumber, sliced
  • ½ Red Bell Pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • 4 Tbsp Water
  • 6 Tbsp BiPro, Unflavored, Whey Protein Isolate
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger root, freshly grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, finely minced

Instructions

Combine cabbage, pea pods, cucumber and pepper.

In a small bowl, whisk together oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, water, BiPro Whey Protein, sugar, ginger root and garlic. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat.

Serve immediately.

High Protein Pesto


Preparation Time: 15 Minutes

Serving Size: 10 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves, rinsed and thoroughly dried
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/3 cup Pine Nuts
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • ½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp BiPro, Unflavored, Whey Protein Isolate

Directions

Toast pine nuts over medium heat, tossing frequently, until slightly browned.

Place pine nuts, garlic, parmesan and basil in food processor. Pulse about 15 times to roughly chop.

Slowly drizzle in one-half of the olive oil with food processor running.

Sprinkle in BiPro Whey Protein.

Slowly drizzle in the remaining olive oil with food processor running. If necessary, stop and scrape the sides. Add Lemon zest.

Salt to taste. Serve as a sauce for pasta or pizza.

Note: 

2 cups packed basil leaves is equal to about five ounces.

Freeze in ice cube trays in quart sized bag, take 1-2 "cubes" thawed out and toss into your favorite pasta, top fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, fish, chicken - anything!
