Hi, I'm Nikki. "They" say what you do in your spare time is truly what you are passionate about. I would have to agree. I am happiest in the kitchen or grill cooking. And especially with my kids and friends. My oldest daughter has Celiac so she cannot have any gluten. I have embraced this and actually cook 90% of my meals gluten free even when she's not home from college. My site has recipes that I have created, recipes that I have adapted and love to make, recipes from my family and friends, and recipes from well known cooks. My daughters are now cooking more and more and always reach out to me asking how I cook this or that. This became my inspiration to put everything digitally. Yes, I still have my Mom's and Grandma's 3 ringed cookbooks that pretty much list the ingredients without any how to's (I guess they thought I was smart enough to figure it out). Cooking brings people together. Healthy cooking feeds the soul and body - literally. Cheers!
