- Wash the outside of the banana and lemon with baking soda and water.
- Peel the banana and cut the peel into pieces. Cut the lemon into half and juice. Cut the lemon rinds into pieces.

- Place liquid, sliced banana, ginger, pineapple, turmeric and cinnamon in a blender or smoothie machine. Blend until smooth.
Notes :
- If you want, make a big batch and pour into drinking containers. Add ice and blend or pour over ice. Drink every morning. Or, you can make it into cubes and freeze them to add to a smoothie in the morning with some green tea as a liquid for fat and caffeine combo.
Key Points - Resistant Starch in Bananas :
- The key chemical in bananas that can help with belly fat is resistant starch; found primarily in unripe green bananas, it's a type of carbohydrate that isn't fully digested in the small intestine, making you feel fuller for longer and potentially aiding in weight loss by promoting gut health and regulating blood sugar levels.
- Fiber-like function: Resistant starch acts similar to dietary fiber, passing through to the large intestine where it ferments and feeds beneficial gut bacteria.
- Appetite control: By promoting satiety, resistant starch can help you eat less overall.
- Blood sugar regulation: Studies suggest resistant starch may help improve insulin sensitivity, which can be beneficial for weight management.
