Ingredients:
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh or dried oregano
- 14 ounce strip steak
- 1 to 2 cups broccoli florets
- juice and grated zest of one lemon
- sea salt
- black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Preheat a grill or heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
Combine the chili powder, paprika, coriander, cumin, and mustard in the small mixing bowl. Coat the steaks with the spices.
Grill or sauté the steak until the internal temperature reaches 135 for medium. Remove the steak from grill and let rest.
Cook the broccoli on the grill for 2 to 3 minutes, or just until tender. Place in a bowl and squeeze 1/2 of the lemon juice on broccoli, then season with half teaspoon salt and pepper to taste. Toss with the lemon zest and sprinkle with remaining lemon juice.
Garnish the steak with parsley and serve with the lemon and broccoli.
